THE PARTY OF TREASON

America fought Communism for many decades.  For a long time it seemed to be a threat to Democracy.  However, Communism never succeeded in shutting down our government.  It took the Republican Party to shut down the government. 

Has the Republican Party become the party of treason?  It would appear so.  First the Republicans have pledged themselves to Grover Norquist rather than to the United States of America.  Then they gave power to corporations to spend millions to influence government policies.  They declared corporations to be people.  Yet individual people cannot spend millions to influence government.  Now they are working to allow billionaires to do just that.  They are developing a nation that is controlled by billionaires and corporations.  Democracy has come to an end in America.  They do not want free elections.  They did not get their way in free elections.  So the obvious solution is to eliminate as many voters from the voting rolls as possible.  The next step is to use extortion to get what they were not able to achieve in elections. 

They do not want Social Security, Medicare, or the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare.  So they will not allow the government to function unless these programs are eliminated.  That is certainly reasonable isn't it?  They feel "disrespected."  Poor souls.  We must accommodate them.   

It may be hopeless at this point to save America.  The Republicans have become fascists and have succeeded in taking over our country.
