Supreme Court
I was not surprised by the Supreme Court decision this week that corporations can spend all the money they want for political "free speech." But I am very disappointed. I cannot comprehend how money can be called free speech. Under this definition the more money one has, the more freedom one has. And the person who has no money has no free speech. George Bush packed the Supreme Court with radical right wing fanatics and this is the expected result. As I wrote earlier, we are now a nation of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations. Our previous nation of the people, by the people, and for the people has perished from the earth.
