WAR ON WOMEN

The GOP simply will not stop its War on Women.  They want the Government off their backs, but they want total government control of women.  They show no concern for women's lives or women's health even though they talk about how sacred life is.  They show no concern for hungry children or health care for children and women.  Reverence for life is shown by social justice for born women and born children.  They show only reverence for fertilized eggs.  They want the Supreme Court to finally ban all abortions and ban all contraception.  They are opposed to the freedom of half of the human race.  And they are concerned for justice for only the white males of America.  I want to see justice for all Americans.  Their laws against abortion and contraception would take us back two hundred years in time.

I was born and raised a Republican; but of course the Republican party has totally changed.  They are all fanatics who are opposed to gays, blacks, women, immigrants, and just about everyone else.  They explain that they are the "givers" of society and the "job creators."  The rest of us, their estimate is 47%, are the takers.  But that is not really true either.  Many of them are on the government pay roll and really like their government health care.  Paul Ryan went to college on Social Security benefits, but he doesn't want anyone else to do that.  These benefits were fine for him, but not for anyone else.  There are members of Congress who receive a great deal of money from farm subsidies; they are paid not to grow anything.  And that is a wonderful deal for them.  But will they provide food help for hungry children?  Not on your life.

One of the Representatives from Tennessee has received a fortune from farm subsidies and yet refuses to provide food for hungry children.  He "quotes the Bible" and says, "Those who don't work don't eat."  Only that is not in the Bible.  I believe that was the philosophy of the Jamestown settlers in the 1600's.  They had wealthy men who had not come to work; they came to search for gold.  They expected to become even more wealthy.  Actually Jesus said, "Give everything you have to the poor and follow me."  That really is in the Bible.  These Tea Party members have obviously never read the Bible.  They have no concern whatsoever for human life.
